Can the garrison cap be worn for a US Navy uniform inspection?

Hey...I've got a uniform inspection on Monday (Winter Working Blues), and wanted to know if I could wear my garrison cover (because it's optional), or if I had to wear the dixie cup. Believe it or not, I've never been inspected in working blues the whole time I've been in (just about 2 years).
