Is Our Insane Propensity for War a Subconscious, Neurological Relic From our Cambrian Progenitors?
I don't know where you obtained all this information, but it sounds like it came off the net. If not, then you are an intellectual with your mind already made up, or in agreement with the reference material. To me, wars are generated by territorial aspects. One country wants to overtake another because they want the land. It has little to do with the instincts of primitive animals, unless it's a method whereby they fight for self-preservation or to defend their territory. We have a perfect example of it in the Middle East countries; i.e., Iraq and Afghanistan. They want territory that doesn't belong to them, and they will enact aggressive measures to achieve their goals. We have a right to defend ourselves against an enemy, and that's why we have wars. Think about it. War is simply an adult version of child play. The two-year-old fights to keep the teddy bear that an older sibling keeps trying to steal from him. Usually neither side wins because the mediator, known as mom or dad, keeps interfering by taking the desired object away. But you are entitled to your version, and I must add if these are your own words and thoughts, you are a deep thinker and have an ytical mind, not to mention your college-level command of the language.
