How to punish the ps3 for misbehaving?

My ps3 is being really , and needs to be punished. I go to play online, and it tries to make fun of me and says its under maintenance. Now i know this isn't true, and that my ps3 is just trying to annoy me. Whats the best way to punish it? i want to mentally scar it and make it fear me so that it never misbehaves ever again.
