What is the movie title: it's in Cantonese (I think), about an old man who mistakenly adopts a girl?

This movie focuses on the themes of love and filial piety; the old man earns his living as a street performer with his magic mask craft; when he discovers that the adopted child is a girl and not a boy, he is distraught. The girl proves herself with a series of dramatic gestures, inspired in part by the performance of an actress (who is a man who dresses and is received as a woman). Resolution is attained, and the man is able to p on his craft to his adopted daughter. Any help would be truly appreciated - I'd like to see this movie again. Thank you!
