Astigmatism + My prescription + Can I Wear Contacts?

I also have no clue what the numbers mean. My work colleague used to wear gles as she also has a stigmatism. Since contacts have advanced so much recently, she now wears them with no problems.. In fact, she has had contacts for around three years now.
