Does any one no of a good dvd converter and burner what i can use?

the thing is ive tried nero trail,worked fine then i had to update as it expired but the new nero doest burn files.is there any good 1s out here.i also tried dvdxconverter but the thing is that it as a water banner in centre of the screen.it annoying just trying to do a simple task.
