Can anyone possibly help me remember this original playstation game?!?

I remember playing it all the time and it was on a demo disc too. I don't remember much but i remember it was a cartoony sidescroller and during the intro movie there were these evil guys in cloaks and there was a tornado that went through the forest or something like that. If anybody could possibly somehow tell me what this game was I would probably owe you my life. jk But seriously it's bothering me.
