Comprehension.................…

My life long dream is to become a school teacher. At times it takes me a little longer than my clmates to get it. Sometimes it seem like another language is being spoken and I'm the only one that doesn't speak it. I will be starting college in the fall working on my degree in teaching. Is there any teachers on here that can give me any advice toward comprehension? Or is there someone on here that has dealt with the same stumbling block but found a way to over come it?
