I just wanna know if there's an easy way to look at the series without doing any tests (or if anything doing an easy test in your head) that the series (3/5^k) from 1 to infinity converges. I'm taking Calculus 2 and the book pretty much implies this is something you should know off the top of your head. Thanks.

2yr old with tubes submerged ears. She has been hystericly screaming?

How to make er icing bright?

I am making er icing for a cake but i want to make the icing BRIGHT. Just adding a few drops of food colouring makes the icing a vague boring pastel colour. So obvious way to do this is to add more drops of food colouring but I find too much of it makes the icing taste weird and gross. I've thrown out mive batches of icing before because I've tried to add lots of colouring to make it bright and it ended up tasting so grim. Any suggestions much appreciated. Thank you!

My relationship is in trouble?

i am living with my partner for over 12 years. I was 27 yrs old at the time and single and she had two young boys and was seperated. IWe got on very well from the start and i quickly moved into her home with the boys as i had been renting on my own. Anyway 12 yrs later we had two more boys between us they are now aged 9 and 10. The older boys are now 21yrs and 23yrs. Last xmas i lost my cool with the 21yr old and i gave him a piece of my mind and he lashed out with a head and he broke my nose. Breakthrough bleeding or beginning of period?

My last period was on Jan 13 so it's been 2 months..no period. I have been having many pregnancy symptoms...frequent urination, headaches, tired, nausea, weight gain of about 6 pounds all in my stomach. I have had multiple neg test at home and 2 neg urine tests at the dr. They did a blood test 2 weeks ago and it was neg too. I am scheduled for a pelvic ultrasound on Wed to finally (hopefully) get a definite answer. Yesterday i had some light spotting only on the tissue twice...once in the afternoon that was light red and once last night that was very light pink (totally different than my period looks) It hasn't happened since. It would have been the time of the month to start my period. I have been reading about breakthrough bleeding and read that it sometimes happens around the time that you are supposed to start and often happens if your hormones are low..which would explain the neg tests. My question is has anybody else experienced anything like this? I feel pregnant. I have three children so i know what being pregnant feels like i just can't get the test results to prove it. Well, my Dad almost drowned today..me my sister and him were having a swimming competition. We started to swim, and about halfway through I stopped to take a rest, so I sat on the edge of the pool. I always used to circle my horse if she did that, not a sharp circle, but for example round the menage / field, don't know where ur riding. The instructor is obviously not doing a very good job if your horse is bolting she/he should not be letting this happen and should discourage it from doing that because in the long run it or the rider will get hurt. Try half halts too, ie rather than tugging on the reins, try pulling your 4th and 3rd fingers back slightly this gives more effect. Hope this helps

WMP is being used by another program or user?

How do I get my new neighbor to shut his overly sensitive car alarm off?

Almost nightly and sometimes more than once a night, my new neighbor's car alarm goes off. For some reason, 3:30 am is a favorite time for it to go off. Me and my boyfriend have been together for about 6 months now, not long, but long enough. I saw these ducklings and the mother ducks by some fisherman on a pier. Ankle pain how can I get over it ?

I sprained my ankle 10 weeks ago. I have seen 2 different physios. I run large mileage (marathons) ankle pain is still there. I have done all the exercises wobble board, walking on tip-toes and heels, rotating foot. Pain is still there not as bad, down to a 4 from a 10. I am back to running but have missed the fall marathon season. Both pysios have told me I should be back to form by now, but I am not. My rabbits in the cold.?

okay i have 6 rabbits and they live in there cages on my back porch. I had them for a little more than 5 years. Well in the winter i would cover there cages with blankets and old sweat-shirts or jackets at night. But this winter it is really cold and there water bottles freeze. I have to de-freeze and fill up there water bottles with hot-warm water twice a day. I can't bring there cages inside because i have four big cages and i have no where to put them and i can not leave there cages inside with my dogs. On my porch it is completely enclosed but there is no insulation, and there are windows completely surrounding the porch, right now the windows are all shut. When i walk out on my porch wearing just a t-shirt it is chilly but not freezing cold, i can sometimes at night see my breath if i breath. In there cages they have a little house they can hide in and they have shredded newspaper all in there (i don't use bedding anymore because two of my guinea pigs died from inhaling the cedar dust). Is there anything else i can do for my bunnies, maybe should i get a small space heater and keep it on low.???? any other suggestions.???

Yes this could definitely be a sign of you're body developing and your period coming. Although this is different in most girls, the average is to get discharge between 2-3 months before your first period, although for me it was about 5 months, so you just don't know until it comes! Asking your mom always seems like an embarring thing, but turns out.. we've all gone through it, so she'll be totally cool about it! Just mention it, and ask if you can get some pads ready just in case, and she'll be ready for you :). The mood swings is normal, its something called your hormones developing, basically meaning your body is getting ready to become a woman! I started my period in school one day, but because it was my first period i didn't bleed much, so managed to put a pad on and no one knew. Hope this information helped, remember everyone is different! :)

Stopping a horse?

I just got my horse about 2 months ago and he is perfect! I usually use him for trial riding and he does fine. But I'v been at horse camp for about a week and i havent been able to ride him. When i let him out yesterday to ride him he was good and i let him gallop threw the fields a bit because he is a paint and seems to have a lot of energy. Well on the way back to the barn i was walking him and we were alone but he just randomly took off full speed! But it wasnt a spooky take off! I dont really know what happend but i wasnt really sure what to do! i remembered to keep my heals down an do half halts but at the same time my instructure told me about emergency stops when you pull the horses head to the side in like a tight circle.. but he was going so fast he would have just fell over!! Can anyone suggest a good sippee cup for a beginner?

Help! My pediatrician got crabby with me because I didnt have my son off the bottle at one year. I have been trying all these expensive sippee cups and my son wont drink out of any of them unless they are very fast flow. The only ones I can get him to drink out of are the dollar store cups with just the slit opening in the spout...but they are pretty much like a regular cup cuz they pour out everywhere! I am looking for something in between that kind of flow and the kind of spout where the poor little guy has to be like a vacuum cleaner to get something out. Any suggestions? I dont care if they drip a little bit, but hes still pretty little so he doesnt have really enough control for a regular cup or the dollar store ones. Any advice is very appreciated!
